 I'm James Weaver, Jr. and I'm currently a student at Bellarmine College Prep.

I'm excited to share a little bit about myself so that you can get to know me!

 

Most kids at my school describe me as the guy who likes to read books all day.   That's pretty accurate.  Since I learned to read, I've pretty much had a book in my hands 24-7.  Every year, in elementary and Jr. High, I was given an award for reading more than anyone else-- because I find it fun and I love learning. 

The thing about being an avid reader, is that my brain is full of knowledge- and not just about science fiction, but about history, politics, business, and economics-- so I have a lot to talk about!  

Here are some fun facts about me:

- I completed college level coursework in cybersecurity and I am learning several software languages.

- I would like to go to law school one day and perhaps continue my interest in public service as a Senator!

-When I'm not reading or coding software, I enjoy swimming, golfing, traveling, cooking, and watching movies with my friends.  

-I am an amateur pianist.

-I love watching Jeopardy with my family, and they usually count on me to sweep any category that involves Greek or Norse Mythology!

- I am also very active within my school and community and I hope to continue my service throughout high school.  I was elected two years in a row as the Associated Student Body Class Senator in Jr High and I also have volunteered to serve the unhoused population in San Jose .
